Kim Kardashian & Julianne Hough Make Readers Angry – and Sad – This Week




From the stunning news that the not-yet-divorced Kim Kardashian is expecting a baby with Kanye West, to the shocking revelation that Julianne Hough suffered child abuse, readers responded to what made them angry, happy and also sad. 

Even as she continued to negotiate her divorce from Kris Humphries, Kim Kardashian announced that she and boyfriend Kanye West are expecting a baby together. The surprise pregnancy, while touted with glee on Twitter by the Kardashian family members, angered many readers. 

Julianne Hough's startling confession that she was abused as a child while studying dance abroad brought sadness to many readers. She told Cosmopolitanthe abuse started around age 10 and got worse as she hit puberty, but she refused to name her abuser or provide details, saying she is a "very forgiving person." 

Jessica Simpson is reveling in her new pregnancy, so much so that she posted a Twitpic of her bare baby belly with the caption: "Bumpin' and Proud!" Her joy and candor in exposing her growing tummy prompted a "wow" reaction from readers.
